CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ is for both IT and non-technical professionals who require the essential business acumen needed to make informed cloud service decisions.
CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ gives you the knowledge and understanding of the foundational business and technical components included in a cloud assessment. You’ll learn specific security concerns and measures that should be considered when migrating to the cloud.

- Passing Score: 720 (on a scale of 100-900)
What you’ll learn
- Cloud principles, cloud networking concepts and storage techniques, and cloud design aspects.
- Aspects of operating within the cloud, such as data management or optimization and the role of DevOps in cloud environments, like API integration or provisioning.
- Appropriate cloud assessments like feasibility studies, benchmarking or gap analysis, key business aspects of cloud vendor relation adoption and cloud migration approaches.
- Risk management and response concepts related to cloud services and the importance and impacts of compliance in the cloud, such as regulatory concerns or international standards.
Requirements
- Recommended experience: Between six months to a year of work experience as a business analyst in an IT environment with some exposure to cloud technologies.
